Default Pics of my 20 YO 996

Hard to believe, my '99 996 is coming up on 20 years of ownership. Seems like only yesterday I picked it up at the dealer. Been a fantastic car!

Looks like it's been well taken care of. How many miles on it now?

Just over 64k. Next week it goes in for water pump, T-stat, a few other items, which should bring it up to snuff with maintenance.

I Like the "SUPPLE LEATHER" charge. As opposed to the rock hard leather?

What was the EXCLUSIVE charge for?

My sticker has the same charge. Maybe it isn't all that 'exclusive'.

I love how they charge $3,215 for leather seats, AND then charge $390 to make it supple

Supple Leather in an option, the leather is wrinkled instead of flat on the center panels.

We know. It's just funny that you have to pay almost $400 to get your leather wrinkled....

I was 38 when I bought it, but I’ve had sports cars of one sort or another pretty much since I’ve been driving. And looking forward to my next one sometime soon. And I always wondered what the supple leather was, so thanks! It’s made a huge difference in the way it handles as a result
