996.2 Carrera 4 cabrio .. no exhaust sports button but with exhaust solenoid?
996.2 Carrera 4 cabrio
I do not have the sports exhaust button on the dash but I do have the brown connector which is unplugged (by previous) owner and the solenoid valve with vacuum hoses present.
I Do have the sport exhaust or not please?

Maybe someone installed it but didn't finish it up with the switch? The PSE defaults to "open/loud" so without anything connected it would improve the sound of the exhaust over stock.

it looks like the PSE comes with all these fittings.
Mayne somebody else can help?
can I check if it is a PSE from the back box?
thank you.

Interesting one of the links talks about how the PSE upgrade kit from Porsche comes with everything EXCEPT the dash switch. Again maybe someone started the upgrade on your car and then never finished it. You can see from the option codes on the sticker under your front trunk lid whether the car had factory PSE or not. The code listed would be IXLF.

Thanks for shearing this info
You can also run your VIN# at https://vinanalytics.com to see if it shows up as an installed option on your car.
