I am "Breezily" impressed (Sorry, I saw that in the description from Mfgr and found that word to be humorous)
I love the idea of this setup and it would work perfect for my situation too, but the reviews on the QC of this product scare the heck out of me. The reviews for the problems 'out of the box' sound frightening.
I'll wait till next Christmas to add to my list.

I'm starting to see more and more of these being used at the track.
Pretty cool how things like these that used to be items only rich people bought are now available to a wider demographic.

Does anyone know how these would compare with liftbars at 1/3 the price? Other than not having to use a floor jack?

I would say, less back and forth, lifting one side then the other, plus ability to get Quickjacks under a lowered car. I don't think you could get lift bars under without first driving car up onto blocks to get enough clearance for jack.

Lift bars instead? Good cheaper alternative
My car is lowered about 1" with PSS10's. I don't have to get it up on blocks, but my low profile floor jack does barely fit.
Lift bars with jack stands at 16"
I really like the lift bars. Oil changes are a breeze.

I have both. The 7000 lb. model fits perfectly the jack points of my 928. I have not used it on the 996 yet. The quickjack doesn't collapse low enough for the 996 ( at least the 7000 model). My solution I believe would have to put 4X6 blocks under the wheels to get it higher for the quickjack. It doesn't help having the European height also.
