I’m going to replace the muffler delete exhaust on my car with something a bit less likely to annoy my wife, neighbors, and local police. I have a set of 2002-2005 style mufflers with factory quad exhaust tips. One of the mufflers rattles like crazy so I don’t want to use them. I’m looking at aftermarket mufflers but thinking of using the quad tips I already have. It’s hard to tell if the bumper cutouts on my ‘99 Carrera will accept the later tips. Has anyone tried it?

I ran 996RS tail pipes on my 00 car for many years without any issues.
