Default Is touch paint not available for 2001 911 from dealers?

Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

i just purchased a 2001 Carrera 4 in Biarritz White. Painted code L9A2. The car has been at the Pacific Porsche having some services performed and I stopped by the parts department and asked to order some touch up paint and the parts service advisor said it was no longer available. Seems kind of strange because I ordered touch up paint for my 2001 BMW Z3 a couple of months ago. The parts service gentlemen seemed kind of new as he fumbled around the computer system looking for it.

Anyone else experience this touch up paint unavailability for their Porsche in 2001 year models? He gave me the paint code but I’m doubting it now that my wife reminded me that we bought touch for our other old BMW model car? Should I just call another dealership or talk to my service writer? I understand them having to order it and having it made up but no low longer available seem kind of strange. Need advise please.

Eric

Or better yet, https://www.drcolorchip.com/store/ba...repair-kit.php.

I like Dr. Color Chip better than the standard touch up paint bottle. Look up videos in youtube about them, amazing!
