So the engine and tranny are coming out of my 01 996 C4 and I was looking at getting the Tarret semi-solid tranny mount in Green (road/autocross) and I wanted to see
if anyone has these mounted? My car is a daily, so lots of use everyday.

The car has semi-solid motor mounts already and a very short shifter kit. It has been suggested that the semi-solids are not a good choice for a daily. Thoughts?

Not sure if this helps or relates to the Tarett product, I ran the black(track) Powerflex trans mounts inserts for a couple of weeks the noise, vibration and drone were overwhelming for any amount of time on the highway to raw for off track driving. Switched to yellow(street) until installing a new mount. I"d highly recommend you install an oem mount and if you still want more play around with inserts as the are relatively easy to swap in and out. I'm also running RSS SS motor mounts and a SSK.
