Default Cheap 996 potential track car

Here is a very rough condition '99 Carrera 4 6 speed with 160k on the clock. However the condition leaves me to believe that this was/is a home to someone or something

Man, even at $5500 that seems steep. I can only imagine what it smells like.

I agree. Probably a flood car but the car seems to have had a rough life even before the flood.

It has the potential to be expensive if issues arise.

I'd take it at $2500 but that's about it.

I saw that ad yesterday.
I think it might be just the car for me.
The engine would make a great first M96 rebuild candidate.
I can see/imagine many thousands of dollars worth of other repairs that it would need.
Trying to talk my self into looking at it tomorrow or this weekend.

Wear gloves and a Hazmat suit if you do!

"runs, drives good" Hard to believe, and you would have to sit in it to find out Certainly a lot of parts there though for someone with ambition.

"runs drives good" ...whilst sitting on the back of a flatbed?

That's a $2000-3000 car in that condition. Could be a good candidate for a stripped out track car though.
