Default Porsche Classic 996 Restoration

Porsche has recently restored 10+ 'classic' 911 and Boxster (986), including a couple 996's all in liquid metal silver. They look pretty awesome, and a number of questions come to mind.
I'm assuming it would cost $200k+ to have a 996 restored by the classic program at $125 Euro's per hour plus parts, shipping etc. You also have to think these restored cars will only help improve the perception and value of the 986/996 in particular. I'm looking forward to seeing more detailed photos of these cars and see what they end of selling for.
Here's some pictures of them, including the 996:

Subscribed, please post when you find more on the 996!

Just read that at the end of the process you receive a book on your cars restoration and aprox 1,000 photos!

Default Pics

They apparently restored 20 and were all available for sale to the public (and sold) by Porsche Great Britain. Here's a pic below. I love the color and yet to see any more close ups of the 996 NB yet. More of the 20 cars are on Instagram and google. I can't wait to see close up shots and curious what they sold for.

70gbp is cheap for a turbo restored by Porsche themselves, they go for that much here in Aus used!

what’s the Instagram account?, love to see more of these pics. Those prices are crazy low for a fully restored car by Porsche.

All that fancy "Porsche Classic" restoration and extreme attention to detail; yet, they didn't plug the front tag holes? pffffff

I love that color... "liquid silver metallic" I think

It is me, or that car is a Turbo but the headlights are the ones on the non turbos? (with the flat areas "stripped")

Total guess, but maybe the lens difference you are noticing is because they are euro lenses/beam pattern, not DOT?

Edit: I understand that there is a difference between the lenses of US market turbo and non-turbo cars. I'm suggesting that perhaps the euro lenses on these cars (sold in Great Britain) are similar in appearance to the US turbo lenses on the outside. My understanding (perhaps incorrect) is that lenses for US domestic use have to have the DOT markings as well; that wouldn't be something you'd see on a euro version of the car.

I have a couple of "spare" Litronic/Xenon/HID headlights for my car that I got off of eBay.
One is a "normal" C2 style with the stripes in the reflector and the other is the flat "Turbo" style reflector.
Both fit my car and work.
I now think that the Turbo ones might fit a C2 the reflectors just look different.
I'm currently on the lookout for a Turbo style passenger headlight, or a C2 style driver side headlight.

I'll double check that the "turbo" style is a DOT when I get home this evening.
