Unhappy Have you ever experienced sick, trash-like service from Design911 or Wossner piston?

We are an autoparts import company.
My customer wanted a piston sets for his broken Porsche Cayman S 3.4.
Yes, Desgin911 u.k said they have it in stock and we ordered it.

It was May 25th.
Right after placing an order, we were told that they don’t have it in stock. What??
They said they were told that their UK supplier has piston, but no piston ring.

That’s when the hell started.
After dozens of expensive international phone calling and numerous email requests, we couldn’t
Receive our order after 2 months, while told “just wait a little bit more”.
Finally we had to cancel the order politely, saying Contact us when the item available.

Of course, there was no call or email from Desgin 911 U.K since.
After days, we made a phone call about the stock availability. They said yes.
4 months after the first order, we received our order, well, until then.

We had to express our deepest sorry to our customer and sent the piston set to him.

Well..
If it was done well, I would’ve not written this post at all.
After checking the number of piston and rings, we sent it to our customers and we got a phone call in a few days.
My poor customer showed a picture of the piston ring set.

The first piston ring N100 was 5, and 2nd ring TE 96 was 7. Each ring should be 6, respectively.
One N100 ring was missing, instead TE96 was 7.
In short, after 4 months of exhausting waiting, he couldn’t repair his car.

Yes, we had to be blamed for what all happens as an importer.
For the last 2 weeks, we contacted Design911 every 2 days for the missing ring.
However, we didn’t receive any positive service from Design911 and always were told “We will work on that and email you right away”.
But no news from Design911 for a week.

We called Design911 and they said “No piston ring in stock”. What the,,, I’m sure they must not have a pc or fingers to type to send a line of email to me. Again,
we had to wait for any news.

Meanwhile, we searched for the ring information and found that the ring set is not just for Cayman S 3.4 but for most of Wossner 96mm bore pistons for 911.
The ring set is for K9471DA / K9472DA / K9473DA, 3 models.
We need just one little N100 ring!

But not the one ring unavailable in Entire Europe??
If Design911 didn’t know about this application, they should not be a seller or business.

Wossner UK dealer didn’t know about it as well and told No stock in Europe? Nope.
The dealer didn’t want to take one piston ring from his brand, shiny new Full set of piston box.

Shame on him!
Design911 is a hell itself! I’ve never got an apology from Design911 at all.
Wossner is a trash, too! We are a customer who wasted 4 months because of their delay, but we are wasting another 15 days now without any contact from Wossner.

If any one of you knows about specification of Wossner N100 piston ring from 960xty set, or any supplier’s contact info,
please let me know.

We are treated like a swindler by our customer. We had to do something!
My contact info:

Let me get this straight. Basically you're doing the same thing to your customer that is happening to you? Guess this is a twist on the golden rule of ... "Do onto others..."

Next!

Why are you trash talking another parts supply company? I've bought from Design911 before their service is good.

IMO you jeopardise your own credibility by putting down others
