It has a plate still - there are times that I'll drive it on the street - but its rare at this point. We took it to dinner the other night - which is always fun. Something about handing the valet the steering wheel always gets a laugh. Most of the time they just tell me to park it out front myself.

I continue to take stuff out of it - so it's becoming less and less street friendly - but more fun. It's all about compromise.

Every now and again opportunities present themselves that are too cool to pass on... this weekend was one of them.

I had gotten in on the group buy earlier this year with the Apex Race Parts SM-10 wheels that they just developed for Porsche. I wanted something light, quality made, and something that stood out a bit more than my other 2 sets of OZ wheels. These fit the bill 10-fold.

Anyway, they had asked for a few pictures of the wheels on the car (which I sent in). I got an email from Ryan shortly after asking if I'd be okay with a professional photographer shooting the car at the next track day (happened to be the 3 day event down at Sebring).... uh, yeah! Below are a few of the pictures (credit to RF Martin Photography - Rafael is an awesome guy to work with, is a car guy, and shoots lots of car related subject matter.... the results speak for themselves).

A huge 'thank you' to Brian and Ryan at Apex and to Rafael at RF Martin... this was (is) something that I'm really proud of and honored to be a part of it.

Those are nice shots! I dig your car, that's basically what I'm shopping for now.

Porsche Cup Splitter. I can probably get the number from it. It’s just screwed to the bumper.

Thanks, I will start searching. If you find a p/n or anything, just let me know. Did you happen to buy from Pelican or Suncoast?

I love the sunset shots. Is it ok to use them for the website on the wing uprights.

Thanks

Ed

I would have to put you in Touch with the photographer or Apex. I don’t have a good answer. Let me know!

Love those as well!

These are my favorite types of threads! Go on any other forum, and there's usually a build sub-forum. Everyone would have a thread dedicated to their builds; learned so much from those.

Love the way your car looks! What size are those Apex SM10 wheels? Are they 18x8.5 & 18x11 or are you using 18x9 & 18x12?

Thanks.
