Aerokit Front Bumper Source
I'm looking for an Aerokit I front bumper cover. I'm not strictly against an aftermarket one, but it has to be urethane, not Duraflex or fiberglass.
Anybody have one, or know of a source that won't break the bank? I'm looking at like $3k from the dealership for just the bare bumper cover!

Did you try ECS tuning?
I purchased my 996.2 bumper through them.
No affiliation, just satisfied repeat customer.
....Wait for factory Porsche, if you are doing a internet search, use term 996 GT3 also, it might bring up more results.

Im looking for one as well. Along with the rest of the kit
There are a couple on Ebay that are heavily damaged but i'm not sure they can be repaired in the condition they are in.
Hoping to find a wrecked car and piece together my kit but we'll see. Im in no rush so i'm holding off for a deal

Good luck with your search - I've been sort of looking for the same for almost 4 years...I've never seen an aftermarket MKI Aerokit/GT3 front bumper in polyurethane...

Just a word of warning on this from my experience.
I was looking for a turbo bumper to replace my bumper on my 2002 Targa. My existing (turbo) bumper was heavily stone-chipped and was held-on with some DIY aluminum strips. I found one for a similar year (but not exact) with the same colour code. Unfortunately the colour was close but not close enough so I decided to respray. After bringing it to my local paint guy we found out there were two different colour blends for the same paint code in 2002 (and probably other years). We used the paint samples to get the one that looked right. Then stripped off the existing 3M clear bra and painted. It was closer, but still noticeable. Sigh. My painter is now blending the colour in on my side-skirts and hood. Thankfully I had a few scratches on both that would benefit from the spray, however my final cost will end-up being almost $2K (CDN) over what I had expected.
If you are buying a bumper (especially for metallic silver) you should probably count on spraying the bumper and nearby panels even if the colour code matches.

I had a similar issue when I had my spoiler painted.
They couldn’t match mine up to the paint samples.
They had to custom match it to my car.
It matches perfectly.

I have this OEM Aero one that is for a MK1 car. I had it on my car for several years, then sent it to LKQ to be stripped, reconditioned and primed. It will need some prep before it is painted. Sonnen Porsche shows these as listing for $4,866.80 with a discounted price of $3,274.38. I also have the little spoiler lip that goes on it. I am open to offers but I am not going to give it away.

Man the Aero 1 kit is very expensive.... I got into a minor curb damage accident and the insurance rep told me that he looked up the front bumper of my car and it was more than $4k...If you add this to your car, make sure you let your insurance company know that you have added this factory kit on your vehicle just so that in case of an accident you are covered for the part. Otherwise they will replace with the OEM bumper that your car came with.
