Default Vacuum Line Length?

Are the line lengths of the vacuum lines critical?

Hard to imagine it makes any significant difference, there's no significant volume of air flowing, hence the tiny tubes, just somewhat static pressure in theory. Why not just trim it if you have a surplus thats making routing awkward? They just pull out of the rubber fittings

While you're in there, you may wan to consider replacing those vacuum lines with a silicone equivalent from http://www.frozenboost.com/liquid-ai...ose-p-300.html
Link is for 4mm, but 6mm and 8mm are also offered. That's what I plan to do during my rebuild this winter.
