Front and Rear Pillar Damage
There's a 99 Coupe on BAT now that the seller states:
"A 2003 accident is noted on the Carfax as affecting the right front and rear pillars, and the seller describes overspray visible near the fuel filler. The seller notes that the paint work appears to have been done to a high standard."
I'm thinking this car had to take a pretty good hit. The car looks pretty nice in photos, would anyone take a gamble on a vehicle like this?

Not necessarily a big hit.
My W.A. guess is it got backed into by something big & tall.
I saw a Toyota Celica back in the early 90s with damage to both pillars from a huge flatbed backing into it on the side.
That why I won’t park in spots where my vehicle is sideways from others backing out.
Those spots are notorious for causing worse damage to the vehicle getting hit.
I saw it too many times in a parking lot where I worked for about a year.

Pass. The pillars are integral to rollover protection and crashworthiness. They are extremely difficult to repair to maintain integrity. There are plenty of other cars out there.
