Lets see how much headroom a 6’6” dude can have in a sunroof equipped coupe!

Cool. Will you be able to move it fore and aft?

Negative... i’ll see how much space it frees up and see if a slider setup would work for me

also bought the wrong seat hardware so stock seat went back in today. Ordering new bits tomorrow

Scored the door panels I was after today. Wanted to get a set of GT3 panels with the door airbag delete but decided i'd rather have the door storage pockets instead of the speaker grills so these will do just fine!

Should be here in 6 days.

You're never going to fit in the Ferrari with those measurements.

Finally got the seat mocked up with the proper brackets.

Its lower but no where near as far back as the factory setup.

I can probably get further back using the factory sliders but they would raise the seating position up the height of the sliders and its already a pain in the *** to get in the seat at the height it currently sits at.

Going back to OEM seating for now.

Dropped some weight and added some utility!!!

Easy door panel swap right? Bull****...

Door handle cable mounting clips were different so I had to swap the door pull assembly. But wait, there was more. My original door handles were worn so I had to swap the new metal handles into the old handle housings into the new door panels

Its done and I couldnt be happier!

Up tomorrow: remove speakers and head unit, and possibly swap in 996.2 center horseshoe setup with updated cup holders. Also replace the cig lighter with dual USB ports.

1 hour tops... right?

Trying to find time to take the car off the road to continue with the projects/maintenance but its been so much fun just driving the darn thing lol

Just ordered a "LN Oil change bundle" with a spin on filter adapter, magnetic drain plug and filter magnet since I'll be dropping the sump to reseal it. Need to source some Drei Bond 1209 locally now or just order it online. Amazon needs a week to get it to me!? Thanks for nothing Prime membership...
