Default Front and Rear Cameras

I'm about to start a project on my C4S Cab that includes replacing my stock head unit with a double-DIN unit from Kenwood. Additionally, I need to take both bumper covers off to find a rattle and repair/replace a radiator. Does anyone have first hand experience with any of the camera types out there? I'm leaning toward getting one of these for the front:

Amazon Amazon

and one of these for the rear:

Amazon Amazon

...but I'm open so suggestions about which style fits best on the bumpers

A prior owner had a Passport 9500ci professionally installed, so I'll probably run the wiring the same way from the bumpers to the center stack that they did for the radar/laser system.

Any advice that anyone wishes they had before they started their camera installation project?

Thanks in advance!!

WOW good prices. Question quality but not a big loss if doesn't work well. I put a Kenwood double din system in mine got the rear camera from CAI Expensive but no need to remove rear bumper. Comes with a perfect size drill bit and the camera snaps perfectly into the hole. If I was aware of these I might of tried the cheaper on first! Get the cheap install kit from METRA
https://www.ebay.com/itm/99-9605B-IS...53.m2749.l2649

I just did this and it is the best solution I could find and much less expensive than any of the others. Comes with trim for relocating the AC controls.
Wiring takes time but much cheaper than buying pre-wired harnessesi. TEST everything before final install of the unit or you will take everything apart again just to check wires... Ask me how I know

Thanks for the reply. Glad you like them, & I appreciate the advice on installation! What shape cameras did you install? The flush mount style is appealing, but it’s less flexible than the bullet style with the mounting bracket, so I’m a little torn.

Thanks. If that one fits the rear, the amazon one will, too. Anyone out one out front on a turbo front bumper?

The camera is covering the S in the license plate bracket. Virtually invisible.

if that's directed at me i only installed a back-up camera, nothing front facing other than radar detector/laser diffuser. both front facing and rear facing radar are hidden within the bumpers, though the laser units are visible thru the slots in the front fascia.

Dumb question:
Does anybody make a wireless system that sends video to cell phone?

While ^^^This looks like a great product, it's been discontinued... maybe it wasn't so great, or just didn't sell... bummer!

It's not wireless nor intended as a backup camera, but the new Escort M1 streams to your cell phone in real time.
