Not sure how his mechanic "The Magician" or something like that probably cut out all the unnecessary things in the back of the car to shoehorn the LS in the car. If so, going back to a flatsix will be difficult and expensive plus the cost of the engine. I would not be interested in that car for half the amount. My opinion, only. Someone will buy it if for nothing else a somewhat attractive boat anchor.

I was joking about swapping in a 911 engine. I followed his video's and honestly, they made a lot of alterations to get that engine to fit. I think he's being optimistic with his price - the car wasn't exactly pristine to start and it wasn't a seamless conversion. I wish him the best....but....

I actually enjoy watching him.
I've learned a LOT from him.
1) Never buy an old Range Rover.
2) Never own a Ferrari without a working fire extinguisher system. An automatic one is best!
3) Never try to drive a Toyota Landcruiser(or Lexus version) under deep water with a snorkel. You might drown yourself!
4) Never think that LS swapping your 996 is going to be the cheap and easy route.
5) Never ask a mechanic to sing Amazing Grace!!!

He has 40+ cars. Bought an $80k Rolls Royce and Testarossa. Trades cars like they are hockey cards. Whatever he does, he's doing pretty well for himself. I do NOT believe he is an idiot in any way, shape or form.

We may be laughing at him, but he's laughing all the way to the bank.

He also has a LOT of debt.
He has talked about the payments.
A lot of debt can come crashing down on you when times get tough...or Youtube changes their payment policy.
All my cars are paid for, so if times get tough I don't have to sell them because I can't afford them.

I'm just saying, he's not a fool. That may be the persona he plays, but certainly not a fool.
That being said, I liked the idea of the LS motor, but it didn't seem like it was installed the way it should. But then I know nothing.

Well, I sure found entertainment value from the video if nothing else. Thanks for a funny moment for the day

I really enjoyed the detail he showed in doing the Renegade mod, for the sole purpose of emphatically demonstrating why I'd never want to do it. I have no issues with originality or drivetrain swaps. But unless you are a true DIY craftsmans, the level of work and money spent into an LS swap just doesn't seem justifiable.
For someone looking for an LS powered 996, this does not seem to be a bad deal considering how much this sort of job costs. The heavy lifting has been done and at this point it looks like the next owner really just needs a new LS to drop in and tune it properly.
