Default Thoughts on this Pegasus sticker

I was saving it for my replica 356 outlaw, then thought why not put it on the ex-roller?

I'm not one to put stickers on my car unless I have to. However, it's your car, more power to you.

Actually kinda appropriate for a roller! It's just a decal, why not? Considering the history of the car it's a fun twist on a classic Porsche racing (Mobil) emblem.

Stickers add fun. If it will result in fun, you should do it.

I feel the same way (the reason this has sat for years) but thought it would be fun...They peal right off.

It's insulting to Pegasuses...Pegasusi...Pegageese...more than one Pegasus. Actually very cool. Where would you put it?
Btw - That 356 looks great.

I don't like putting stickers on my car paint because sometimes it creates a shadow in the paint after it comes off...don't if that is due to UV or what. SO all stickers for me go on the glass. But I do like the fact that it is unique....

Paints naturally fade in time. If you have a sticker covering a surface, over time you'll create a shadow mark like those crazy beach people that write messages on their skin with sunscreen. The sticker acts like a car cover which protects the paint underneath and when removed, you get the shadow mark. Lots of people in the decal business claim the glues used on stickers shouldn't harm modern automotive paints, but in my opinion, the chemicals in sticker glue along with heat and moisture could potentially "eat" into the top layer which is usually a clear coat.

Trust me, if this was a pristine paint job I wouldn't even consider it. I've never put a sticker over paint and might just put this on the rear side window as lowpue mentions.
I just like it for some reason...I like different.
