New member introduction
Greetings. Longtime lurker and finally did something about it. Picked up a 2000 Cab this past Sunday. Forest green metallic, black top, Savannah beige interior, 6 speed. Super low miles at 25,800. If I could order a used car, this would be it. The owner was a nice guy who is downsizing going into retirement.
I intend to get to know it, then probably replace the IMS bearing. I’ve read enough about them that I’m willing to pay the cost to manage the risk.
So far, I love it. Love looking at it. Don’t see many of them in this area, east of Cincinnati.
Just wanted to say hello.

15 years?? And you haven’t been murdered by IMS bearing failures, etc? Lol can you tell me about your 996’s? Unless I missed it, I didn’t see info in your profile. Thanks.

Beautiful car... I've always like green in a Porsche 911 especially when it's complimented with a tan leather interior. You're very smart in planning to have the IMS replaced. Have you decided with one you're going with?
