I've been hanging out at BobIsTheOilGuy.com since 2004. I've learned so much from reading from what real experts in the oil industry have to say about the facts on oil. I highly recommend that anyone that owns a Porsche should be reading there also. It's also a friendly place, very nice folks and very helpful. The knowledge you will gain is tremendous!
Don't trust what someone at a Porsche dealer says - over the years I've read quite a few "old mechanics tales" perpetuated by well meaning, experienced Porsche mechanics.
See you over there! I'm sasilverbullet over there also...

I can imagine few things in life less interesting than spending hours and hours reading about oil. Watching paint dry, maybe?
Go drive your cars.
