Looking for 996 motor

i recently installed one of the factory short blocks. It comes with the "large" single row IMSB used on all m96/m97 engines from Porsche from 06 up. This bearing requires splitting the case to replace, but also has a very low failure rate. Generally, the only recommended maintenance of this bearing by the experts is to remove the seal at the time of clutch replacement to allow engine oil to enter the bearing.
I would not every worry about a large bearing, nor would I ever try to replace it unless I was doing a full rebuild much later on. By then, who cares.
