Default What is this **** for?

The sales dude says it's to adjust the intermittent wiper speed. I test drove it in the rain and it didn't seem to change the intermittent speed at all.

What is it? How do I fix it?

It is the intermittent wiper ***. If it is not working, not sure how to fix it.

Yep, mine modulates the wiper speed - I wouldn’t say there is a huge difference, but definitely noticeable.

What I thought was odd was the amount you can turn it, is yours like that?

You might have the auto sensing wipers. If so, the **** changes the sensitivity.

Porsche sucks with wipers systems period. Sometimes the auto sensing wiper brain gets stuck and you need to rotate one click to wake it up.

The sensor is above the mirror seen from the outside.

The wipers were so bad on mine that I just removed them all together (just put a little extra rain-x in the tank)... I dropped 1.2 lbs off my curb weight - I figure that's good for about 2 hundredth's time savings on my next trip to the outback steakhouse...

You have a bad intermittent wiper relay, wiper still work but no variance.

Yeah, I have that **** yet it does not work.. and I have replaced both the **** and the relay. Besides checking the wiring I am not sure what else I can do. So I just adjust as needed and applied Rain-X! I agree, with others Porsche's wiper systems are not the best. My wipers on my 964 were iffy.

Yea, it's for intermittent wipers adjustment. All the way DOWN is intermittent next is OFF, then LOW then HIGH...
