Installed new set of PS2 295 30 18's on rear of my 01 C4. Big improvement over the stock 265 35 18's.

Start a new thread and let us know what your research finds.

That photo shows independent suspension so definitely not a Jeep or any standard typical solid axle build.

You could get two of those for the same price at either AutoAtlanta or Pelican. Then you could replace both of them...

Replaced a broken exhaust manifold bolt on my 2004 C2.

I broke this last year, when the engine was removed for various work (including IMS Solution install). Of the 12 bolts, 11 came out cleanly. The exception was the rearmost one on the left side - which (naturally) is the one with the worst access: the thermostat housing interferes, so this must be removed, which means that coolant must be drained.

The M8 bolt broke off flush with the exhaust manifold flange, so about 6 mm remained above the aluminum block. I tried using a camming socket to grab this, bit its grip was inadequate. I then welded an M8 nut onto the stub, which gripped well - but the bolt broke again, this time flush with the block. So I drilled a pilot hole as near the center as I could, and then enlarged this, ground out the remains with a Dremel plus carbide bit, and re-tapped the threads. The entire job consumed a lot of time over 2 days, but the end result was very satisfactory.

I finished by replacing all the original manifold bolts with titanium versions, treated with anti-seize. I think this means the problem will not happen again.

I installed several clear bra pre-cut kits from invisible mask (headlights, 1/3 hood, mirrors and bumper)

All went in perfectly except the bumper... it needs a lot, but really a lot of stretching. I have to re order it because it was really difficult (I had ordered the replacement guarantee)

I do have an oil leak in the engine but it is high on the right side of the engine (passenger side). It seems to be dripping off of a corrugated tube high up on the right side. I have oil over the whole right side of the engine including the #6 injector. I am researching what it could be. I am thinking AOS, but I am not getting any smoke from the exhaust.
-Thanks
I had a leak from that corrugated tube. It was cracked, and when I replaced it, it shattered like glass. I have 996.2 btw. The corrugated tube is the crankcase vent tube that goes to the AOS. It requires manifold removal for replacement.

Interesting. I have oil on that tube. I was thinking that is what was leaking. Do you know the purpose of this tube? If this has a crack, would it potentially send MAF errors as there would be unmetered air entering the engine?

Crankcase vent tube going to the AOS. Yes, this would be an air leak, as the eventually the crankcase gases are routed back to the intake (via AOS). I didn't have any codes from my leak. I was able to temporarily repair this with some "miracle" leak repair tape until I had time to repair it properly. The hard part is finding the leak. My crack started as chafing on a component bracket at the top of the motor. I don't remember which one.
