Has it swayed you to swap?

Not today, but yesterday I tracked my car at Road Atlanta. It was great fun. This was my third track day. Now I just need to get more track time, and some coaching, to bring my lap times down. There were only three other cars in the group I went out with, two GT3 RS and a Ferrari 458 GTB. I was able to keep up with them a little while, but eventuality, 296 horsepower and my lack of skill caused me to fall back.

There were many awesome cars there. I would say more than half of the 80+ cars there were Porsches. There were about 30 GT3 RS. I had one if the most underpowered cars. Only a few Spec Miatas had less horsepower, but they are quick.

A pic of a few cars in the Driving Club garage:

Best bang for the buck is a PCA Driver's Ed. Numerous events run up the road from you at Carolinas Motorsports Park, Kershaw. Lots of excellent instructors and a well tuned program.

HIGHLY addictive, for sure.

Last "winter warmup" before taking him to the wrapper and hopefully putting the S6 (on the back) to summer storage. Damn it was fun to cruise around the block, even though I just have summer tires on so had to basically drive 10kmh Front trunk is open in the pic, had to give him a bit extra juice before starting.
It's strange how much better 996 feels compared to S6, even though S6 is performance car from the same era and has a bit more power (also of course weights more and has automatic transmission eating up the 0-100 time).

Well, I think that there's a reason why Porsche is Porsche

Great way to get to know how good these cars can be...but, If you haven't made the requisite improvements to your car you are sorely tempting fate.

Looks great! I’d like to get one for my 04 GT3. I hate the OEM glued on spoiler. Who was the vendor? Thanks

Today was fun - the weather was nice (but chilly) so pulled the hardtop off hoping for warmer weather soon. My daughter is home from college this week and wanted to go for a ride with the top down. In her winter parka! This was my first drive with the top down - can’t believe how nice these are opened up. Since I bought the car in December I had never had the top down except to make sure that it worked properly.

Just got done swapping out the winter wheels/tires for the summer wheels/tires... always makes me feel good because the car handles so much better 😎

Perfect, glad you are extending your passion to your family! Hey, great roads around there. We are getting ready for our annual trip to Marietta in a few weeks. Your area is an absolute dream for road trips! Enjoy!
