New clutch - and replaced transmission mount bushing. Wow, big difference. Now I need that short shift kit.

New Sport Techno wheels from Porsche
New Pirelli P Zero Rossos (because so few manufacturers still make a 295/30/18)
Mount, balance, and four wheel alignment
Paint correction, headlight restoration(as good as it is going to get), interior and exterior detail, and exterior ceramic coated.
New trans gear oil, coolant, brake fluid, emissions and inspection

This of course wasn't all done today. It's been a work in progress since late June juc finished yesterday.

Been wrestling much of the day with:
  • Kenwood Double DIN head unit install prep - remove stock unit, move wiring, grind plastics, etc. Test run sounded nice, will need to install Porsche start up screen graphic.
  • Try to figure out best way to fish cable for rear view camera, then got sidetracked by obsolete K40 install from long ago. Removed rear bumper cover to remove sensors, but more remain in the cabin and frunk.
  • Tried to prep for GPS and microphone cables, then got sidetracked by leaves stuck under front cowl, so had to clean that out
  • forgot to get 3M flue tape to fix the "shooting foam" while head unit is out, so ordered it.
  • Metra HVAC relocation trim just doesn't fit well, so ordered Porsche parts from Rod @Car Audio Innovations in the hope that it will fit better. Rod shipped it within 30 minutes of ordering on a Saturday, can't ask for more.
So the car is a mess and probably will be for at least another week or so....

I installed Bens’s shift kit and am very happy with it. Cheap, easy and significant difference from stock.

Best shifter on the market for a street car, in my opinion, is the Numeric.
