I’m finishing up on covering the center console in leather, getting rid of the ashtray, and relocating the window switches to the horseshoe on the dash. Here’s the mock up-

I have one pinky finger nail size dent just behind my driver head light that annoys me...Might have to try one of these diy kits.

After all of these years....I finally put in a permanent solution for my V1....I am getting power off of the sunroof switch which I have never used in 8 years...no fuse though since I figured I can leverage the Sunroof fuse. I guess I could fry the V1 but will take that risk.

Very sleek and nice workmanship. Gives a whole different appearance.

However, I have owned several of these cars and I wonder if you won't quickly miss a "non-smoker's shelf" or even the ashtray for things like cell phone, sun glasses, change for tolls, etc.

I’ve never used it to hold anything. I’ve got two of the storage bins in the console, that’s where my glasses and phone have gone.

Just as an aside: I removed my console last year to paint it and put in the non-smoker's kit. There was $27.85 in change stuck under the console from PO*. Paid for the paint.

* here in Kanukistan we have $1 and $2 coins...so while this was more change than I was expecting, it wasn't 20lbs of quarters.

Default Another oil change...

My yearly oil and filter change with hardly anything on my magnetic plug. No little bits on my oil filter. Original IMSB and clutch with just shy of 78k miles. Replaced my cabin filter and air filter as well.

Finished the install of my custom ashtrayless console and relocation of the window switches to the dash. Installed my stock mufflers back in with the “Fister” mod, and cleaned the radiators this weekend:
