Question Leak Help - Passenger Side (with pics)

New to the forum. Just picked up '03 C4S, 6MT, 68k miles, on Sunday. Love the car.

The PPI by a 30 year Porsche tech said the car was in perfect shape mechanically. RMS, IMS, clutch, flywheel, all changed w/in last 8k miles. Recent oil change showed perfectly clean oil/filter/grommet.

Put some cardboard boxes underneath to see if there's any leakage, and noticed a spot. I don't mind leaks - just curios what it could be.

Smelled the leak, couldn't tell - looks wet, so could be coolant. It's clear, though a bit dirty from seeping down through sludge mostly. Spot on cardboard is from 24 hours of sitting, and is about the size of the "O" when doing the "OKAY" sign.

I spent hours looking through the threads to no avail. Half the images have also disappeared. So, thought I'd ask for help.

Anyone know where I could start exploring, or have seen this before? Thanks! - John

About the size of the "OKAY" sign. 2 inches diameter.

That has been seeping for some time. Not sure what it is. Power steering leak? AC leak? What does it smell like? Have you tasted it?

It definitely doesn't smell like oil. Almost like brake, trans, or power steering fluid. Gonna head downstairs in an hour and give it another good whiff. Will report back.

Clean it all off and get a fresh look at it after a few miles...Guessing is just a waste of time.

Seriously! I'm gonna call him out on it. He was so confident.

It appears the leak is coming from what I imagine is the clutch or gear shift assembly. It's definitely NOT oil, and is clear and pretty odorless. In fact, it aligns with my previous note about brake fluid. So yeah, likely clutch fluid.

Any idea what the scope could be?

After some detective work, it looks like a similar problem as this: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...sion-leak.html
Not Terrible, but not good.
