I used the washer they provided and it looks identical to the one that came off so I don’t think that should be a problem. As Wyovino mentioned, the original LN version wasn’t as robust and the plug itself ripped apart(plug head vs body). I will get a torque wrench shortly as well.

Why do they even call them crush washers on this car? They don’t crush at all.

I've converted from a torque wrench to a torque adapter, and am very happy with the versatility of it.

Very important to have the correct torque on your new plug! It can vibrate out and off while driving. I had this happen to a brand new delivery truck that we bought and on it's first oil change the mechanics gopher never torqued to spec and we lost the motor 10 miles later.

There have been several revisions over the years.
The first change was to make the magnet flush on the face so it would be easier to clean.
Then we went back to an 8mm hex as people were able to put too much leverage on the 10mm hex.
The last change added compatibility for the the 9A1 engine, with the tapered end to provide clearance for the oil pan baffle in the 9A1.
