Happy Fathers Day! Have you seen my dad’s car?

Happy Father’s Day to all you dads out there! The 996 cab in the pic was my dad’s favorite car. He passed away nearly 11 years ago. The car was done up with side skirts, lip & techart wheels I believe. I own the 993 below. I always thought it would be amazing if I could locate his car. I know it’s far fetched but if anyone has seen such a car please let me know. Was a metallic black with tan interior and manual transmission. We lived in Beverly Hills too.

Do you have a vin? Try calling the insurance company or even the dmv if you don’t. Then put the vin in a carfax report.

VIN would be the way to track it down. If you have no record of the VIN, track the VIN down using the license plate. Should be a VIN associated with the license plate and registration. Maybe even an old insurance document, or insurance company, might still have a record of the VIN. Car could be anywhere, but at least it would help if we knew what State/City the car was in 11 years ago.

Thanks guys. Let me add I DONT have the vin otherwise I could have. I’ve had the same insurance guy since I was a kid (I’m 33) and he insurer my folks too but he was with another company and doesn’t think he can access it to get it. I think I remember the plate but not sure and it’s vermont plates.

edit: and yes below a ‘99 was in Beverly Hills CA.

It's a '99, if that helps narrow it down a bit.

And it’s techart aero and Speed line wheels or OZ wheels

If it was Vermont plates, and you know the plate number, contact the DMV. We are a tiny state and you may speak with someone at the department who is willing to help. There have probably been fewer 996 cabs registered in Vermont ever than in a block of beverly hills on any given year. :)
