Default Upgrades/mods for C4S?

So I just came into a little cash and am looking at upgrading something on my 03 C4S. I'm thinking about suspension upgrades, but wanted to see if anyone has any suggestions as to what's the best upgrades to do (most bang for the buck)?

This is a daily driver, not a track car, so my focus would be on making the daily driver experience more fun/better.

If it were me the first think I would do is pull the FWD system out, sheds around 120-150lbs I believe, reduces front tire wear and might liven the front end up

I'm not biased or anything, but perhaps you should consider converting it to a 2000 model year C2!!

Joking (hopefully obviously). Posting some photos of your car (exterior & interior) might help inspire some suggestions.

What is your budget? The ultimate suspension upgrade for the 996 is the DSC kit...

IMO, the best bang-for-buck mod for any 996 (or most any car really) is suspension. And on a car like a 996, second place would be exhaust.

I did the Fister D exhaust this year and purchased some quad exhaust tips.

A set of Fister mufflers and/or a new head unit. Having a stereo that sounds good and has decent bluetooth support adds loads to the daily driving experience.

Here are a few pics of mine. I'm probably looking at something in the $2 to $2.5K range to spend. I'm also considering paint protection film since I'd like to keep the car looking good and I have a crap commute.
Thanks!

Consider painting the bumperettes to body color (if you are into that thing).

I was joking in my earlier C2 comment, but I also agree with the above. I know nothing about what's required to do that, but from another thread on a different forum, it sounds like it's not that difficult and it is reversible.

The bilstien B8 shocks + lowering springs are apparently the best street suspension for the $.

Since you asked

Drop the bumperettes off at a body shop to have them done in body colour.
Motor mounts make a big difference. Your choice, consider them a wear item.
Wheel spacers 7mm front and 14mm rear.
Ti lugs from World Motorsports.
Short shift kit.
Lightsavers.

If still in the budget...

Fisters if that's to your liking.
A Denison Gateway for bluetooth.

Obvious bias
