Default ABS pump leeking!

I was driving my 2001 carrera c2 cab. on the Blue Ridge Parkway, where near the end I notice that I was getting brake fade!
Was able to get it down the mountain and back to the Hotel parking lot.
After taking off the plastic cover to look at the braking unit we notice that
every time I would pump the brakes it would leek under the the ABS Module.
part number on it 996 355 755.52
is part number 996 355 755.04 the same part?
Thanks

Are you sure it is not just a loose brake line? Normally Porsche upgrades part numbers with the ending number...so the 52 is newer than the 04.
Diagram here with part numbers. Sorry, don't see the part number you gave.

It's a 2001 996 Carrera C2 Cab... no 997 ...no turbo...no C4 AWD
All the brake lines are good...it's leaking from the bottom of the ABS unit,
looks like the internals gave out...
has this happened to anyone else?
Spoke with my local Porsche parts guy and the parts numbers he gets
for this year and model is
996 355 955 03. It changes up to 996 355 955 04 and then to a re manufactured unit 996 355 955 DX.
they run for about $6k ... crazy money!

So looks like I will get a used unit to replace it.

I actually have a spare used pump I bought two years ago because I thought mine was bad. I'll take a look at the part number to see if it is the one you need. I will say, that I got it on eBay, for under $100, I think, so it is worth checking there.

Where are you on BRP? There is a used porsche parts place in Rocky Mount NC. I have never used them myself but may be close enough to get a part to you.

Luckily I was able to come off the mountaintop safely and was able to
have it stored a fellow rennlister's farm.
I'm back in Toronto Canada now and looking for a good enclosed transporter company
to get her back...I posted a new tread on that.
It will be easier just to get the car back here and have the work done here.
Thanks again to everyone for your help!

So according to my VIN this is what I got back from my local Porsche dealership...
The part # I come up with is 996 355 955 03. It changes up to 996 355 955 04 and then to a remanufactured unit 996 355 955 DX
Again this is for 2001 996 C2 cabrio with ABS and PSM.
The funny thing is when looking for a used part..none of them have this number stamped on the unit?
996 355 755 04 was always stamped .. they all say it is compatible to 996 355 955 04
I picked up a used unit for under $100 and will see from there what happens.
I also noticed that this unit is shared with the boxsters of the time.
