Based on my experience with these guys I CANNOT recommend to them to anyone AT ALL ...

1 - awful crinkled leather wrapping of the shaft
2 - what is with the chip on the tip?
3 - asked for smooth gloss black - the black paint is awful
4 - he refinished NOTHING. It is still scratched - he just painted over it all ...

I HATE sending stuff away ...
wow, I hate to say this, but thanks for warning me. I was going to send a shifter to him. Not anymore! The leather on the ebrake looks like a ball sac as well!

Absolutely do not do it ! Even if he did it for free, it is not worth it. Quality is terrible and communication is awful.

I will call Dallas Custom, but I will now have to wait, as I have spent enough cash on this e-brake ...

Alway Wanted, There's a guy here that does leather, plastic and vinyl repair. I've used him before and he's great. The dealerships all call him to do repair work on their cars. He's called Fibrenew in Edmonton. He's going to redye a piece for me too. I imagine there must be a guy that does this work in Indiana.

???????????? (?)

PayPal isn't perfect, that's true, but is a credit card any better? I think it's worse. Once you approve a credit card payment, there is very little they will do. I don't have any personal experience with credit card fraud, so feel free to enlighten us, but my sister-in-law was out $1000 for a fraudulent transaction and the credit card company (Amex) would not even discuss crediting her because she signed off on the expense. On a security level, would you feel better having given that guy your personal credit card info rather than going through a third-party intermediary like PayPal? I sure as hell wouldn't.

Very obvious by this post you know nothing how PayPal works....Credit Card used through Payscam offers more protection to open up a dispute with the seller than trusting PayPal's third party intermediary, Gee we PayPal find that the Porsche owner must send back the EBrake that belongs to him in the first place that he sent to this crooked seller for services. The crooked guy would have never seen the credit card information. PS this guy paid by his banking information that PayPal has and not seen by anybody unless PayPal is hacked, and they have been so that Security Level you feel is there, isn't. You can do some light reading here about your rights and disputes with services that this guy didn't get
