Default $10K 996

Folks, My local dismantler I buy all my parts from for my projects has this car he bought with a rebuilt title that he is trying to see before he dismantles...It might be a good project for you "roller" guys to harvest and sell the rest of the parts.I think the car was in better shape then he expected since he almost always dismantles. He is an honest guy and even warrantees his parts (not sure about the car), I have no connection other that we have become friends because of the business I do with him. He is Norspec Dismantling on Ebay I think. I would consider it myself but I have my eye on another good deal on a 996.

It's either a great deal, or a pig in a poke. If the buyer can do an oil and filter check, and maybe remove the sump plate - then it looks like a good deal. Everything else is fixable to a greater or lesser extent(barring weird engine noise).

Pretty temping car. I saw that on CL the other day and figured that's what this thread was about when I saw the title . Did he give you any background information on it?

Probably not that important, but I’ve purchased many items from from Norspec Dismantling on eBay and they have been good to work with.

They're a generic Chinese wheel. You can find them all over Ebay or at your local Discount Tire. The most common brand you'll see them under is Victor Equipment.

It's really common in pretty much anything built by a VW subsidiary in the 90s-early 2000s.
