Saw this in the Le Mans Museum last week, interesting they identify it as a 996.

That is the 911 GT1. Love that museum, went on my last trip to Paris.

The GT1 has a street version that is the successor to the 959, but before the Carrera GT.

The only common parts with a production 996 are the front and rear lights. And it's a beauty.
