Default Good Diagnostic Tool for my 2001 996 ?

Hey Everybody,

Can somebody recommend a good diagnostic tool for my 2001 996 Carrera 4? I just want a tool that does basic diagnostics and reset airbag lights...etc. My budget is around $200

Thanks!

At the $200 price point your best choice is a Durametric (think they start at around $250)

It will reset your airbag light

^^ The Durametric "enthusiast" version (can use on up to 3 Vin's) will run you about $300 ($287+ shipping). If you want unlimited Vin's and the limited ability to program certain modules you'll want the "PRO" version which runs around $700

I picked up a Foxwell NT510 for around $149. It does the airbag reset and lots more. I'm sure the Durametric is a ton better, but it wasn't worth the price premium to me.
