I’m so glad I decided to take his advice and upgrade, rather than replacing the plastic. Such an improvement to the look and the quality that my C2 deserves!
Why anyone would choose the plastic over the glass is beyond me. Yeah plastic is bigger but it looks so cheap and does not hold up well. Glass also has defrost.
Mind sharing what your cost was?
i got the plastic window though (top was a gift from wife)
$400 +/- for the top
$1300 +/- for the install
in and out of shop in one day
very happy
thats great. Congrats. Did the shop adjust and service all the components before installing the new one? My mechanic told me to leave the car out in the sun for a couple of days to let the top stretch, adjust, settle, etc.
