Ugly, extra weight, something else to fail, another place for a leak, and generally not needed. I've never once had trouble seeing out the back of my car. To each his own though...that's why it was an optional feature!

I live on the west coast of British Columbia , it rains a lot . If you ever have to back out of a parking spot in biblical rain , you’ll love the rear wiper
i use the bosch wipers that are thin blades on the Frount and rear . They both look better don’t lift and don’t freeze up

The rear wiper is part of Porsche's DNA. Mine, unfortunately, doesn't have one. I drive year round and really miss it in the snow.

The GT3 doesn't have one 
I'm in two minds about mine I like the sleek look and symmetry of not having one but it is useful occasionally although all AU delivered Carreras have them so I don't really want to remove it.
