Default Any Suggestions on Bose Speaker Issue

Hi, I am looking for some possible solutions. I have a 2002 996 Cab. The driver side Bose speaker suddenly stopped working. I noticed the other day that the audio was playing out of only the passenger side dash mounted speaker. A little search had me manually lock and unlock the doors. That action restored the sound to the sub and the passenger side door and rear speaker as well as the subwoofer. Nothing seems to restore the driver side Bose components. The driver side dash speaker was also very faint but shifting the equalization was able to resolve that. Any thoughts why only the driver side door and rear Bose speakers would quit? Thanks.

I would check for a kinked or broken wire in the drivers side door where all the wires come though in that rubber boot.
