+1 on staying away from the HP mods. Are you going to be tracking the car at all?

Definitely not tracking it, plan on driving it on weekends to the marina only.

Great thread but pictures should be required! A lot of amazing mod lists. Even the inexpensive mods are great, like the 3 blinker thing.

I am not sure how it would draw power unless you left the lightning cable (charger) plugged into it. There is no power to that source unless the radio is on since the usb in the port is powered by the radio and used for apple play.
Maybe I misunderstood what you meant.

Here is the link to the usb port, it didn't sit flush until I modified the back of the plastic panel.

Back of the head unit has a USB port for apple play, which doubles as a charger. It also has HDMI which I won't use
