Default Door plugs

I am the proud new owner of a 2001 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet. Should I remove the door plugs following a wash? I would replace after thorough draining.

To access the bottom bolts of the window regulator. They are for adjusting the location of the bottom of the window regulator, i.e., in and out to set the window pressure against the window seal.

Ok, then there must be some natural drains in the doors somewhere. These cars are designed pretty well for stuff like this (water).
