Default I'm hot, help!

I have a 02 carerra 4 . My heater temperature is stuck on HOT. I lower the temp and it doesn't change. It's cooking me out! How do I fix this?

New controller is my guess. I have one from a 2000 996 that works perfect but I am not sure whether it is compatible with 2002.

I have heard blend door actuator could be the problem. Any thoughts on that?

If you haven't done so already, cycle all the vent buttons and the defrost button...maybe just something stuck.

I think this is a good idea, and see if the AC comes on as well. Ever change the electrical part of the ignition switch? Known to wreak all kinds of havoc.
