Default Does anyone have this front bumper air deflector thing lying around?

2001 996 turbo. I am hoping the front bumper stuff is the same as some of you with a C4 or C4S. What this plastic part is in the picture is broken and I need to replace it when I do the annual radiator cleaning. Anybody have one laying around or know where I could find one? Thanks!

EDIT: I am not talking about the front lip...

I think it is part #16 on this diagram?

P.S. I know ol' girl is a little dirty, its been raining every single damn weekend here as of late

broke front air deflector thing.

I'd use fiberglass and epoxy on the back side. Maybe rivets and a piece of aluminum if you don't mind the rivet heads.

That definitely looks more like it! Good one...damn expensive part though for a piece of plastic. Maybe OP should check a dismantler or junk yard.

I googled porsche dismantlers georgia and only came up with one - German Auto Dismantlers
I also googled the part number and saw ECS Tuning had one for $483 (ouch!)

That's really strange that that piece would break like that - at least on my car, they're more like rubber than plastic (very flexible)...Specialized German Recycling on Ebay is really good and their prices are reasonable. There's also LA Dismantlers, but their site is terrible - you're better off calling them on the phone (I prefer the internet with photos...). Good luck - I'm sure you'll find it.

Good luck. Usually in my neck of the woods it is "road gators" that take out your front end. One popped up from a semi and pickup I was following and took out the grille and passenger light (different car from the current 996). Maybe you'll find a rear ended car that's being parted out. Again, good luck.
