Dare I ask the price?!?!?

Chris
I got the shifter and cables for under $1000 during the last group buy.

I then installed the cables, and again there was a significant change for the better/ease of shifting, more precise feel.

I've had the Numeric shifter installed for about 2 years set on the shortest setting. I love it! Reminds of the days of being on the rifle team and the bolt action on a .22 cal Anshutz.

So, I finally got the car out of the garage - I couldn't wait to drive it! The shifter and cables totally live up to the hype. All I can say is wow All the "rifle bolt" analogies are right on target. Reduced the actual effort to shift and the feel is just precise and solid...not a whole lot more to say. Not inexpensive, but imo worth every cent...

Default Numeric shift cable

Shift cable attachment
;">Started to install Numeric shift cables in my 1999 996 and after disasembly of console went to disconnect shift cables at the trans and found that the connection of the cables at the trans were different than the ball and socket configuration of the Numeric cables. On my car the shift lever at the trans consists of non tapered pins and th e cable attachment has an internal circlip to lock it onto the pin. Apparently early production has a different setup. Anyone have this problem and come up with a solution in order to use the Numeric shift cables.

I think they offer different ends. Give them a call. They’ve always been helpful when I speak with them.
