Default Front wheel opening - rolled lips?

My front wheel opening have the lips rolled back from maybe 10 o'clock to about 2 o'clock. Is this standard on a narrow body 2004 C2S or has this been done by a previous owner for extra tire clearance?

The rolled section is nicely done and uniform comparing RF to LF, so I am assuming it is factory. Would really like some confirmation though. It isn't like I can go to the dealer's used car lot and stick my hand under 3 or 4 of these 15 year old cars to find out for myself.

Front and rear fenders are rolled from the factory in 02 and up.

Thanks for the info. I am having a clearance issue just behind the rolled section with my 7mm wheel spacers. It rubs the inner liner, which just pushes out of the way, but has a tendency to "catch" the lip in this area.

Strange that your having problems, what offset are you running ? I have 04 C2 and running the stock offset of 50mm and 14mm spacers with no issues.

editing: the car is also inch and half lowered with -0.7 camber on front end.

I have the stock 18" wheels and I have read of others running more spacer than what I have but no can do on my car. It sits quite low in the front so I assume that is the explanation?

I am running 18x8.5's in the front with 245/35 tires and 15mm spacers with no need to roll the front fenders....I am at -3 camber however.

On the rear I have 18x11's with 315/30 tires and no spacers and -2.5 camber and the fender clearance was tight so I did have the rear fenders rolled.

2003 C2 with ride height set at 4.25" front and 5" rear.
