Default 996 Split Rear Spoiler/Engine Deck Lid

Everyone,

I've seen split rear engine deck lids/spoillers - mainly on 993's - and I like the look. Does anyone know if this is possible with the 996? And, if so, how I can do it (i.e., where to purchase)?

Thanks,

Matt

I would try to help but I don't have a clue what you mean by 'split rear engine deck lids/spoiller'.

I was just curious what this would even look like so I (quickly) photoshopped a few examples on a C4S and a C2 Cabrio. This obviously is taking a lot of liberties in the photo manipulation department because even the basic shape of the two lids aren't even remotely similar. I had to do a lot of warping and stretching to get just the stupid photos to line up. You'd probably have to custom fabricate something. I like it on the 4S, though!

Perhaps you could contact someone like Getty if you have enough interest to pre-buy a bunch to make their initial costs worthwhile?

I'm not interested in one, just thinking through options for you all.
