It has a fairly new Motorsports AOS on it so I don't think that was the issue.

Ummm...No. Since that side is Bank 2 where the AOS breather hose attaches, why not pull the breather hose and see what it looks like inside? Since the engine is out and you found this, what is it your investigating? Fouled #6 cylinder/spark plug?

That is nasty. I just want to point out that there is hole where the oil goes and a hole where the air goes. Try not to mix them up next time mmmm...ok?

Good call on the breather hose. Investigating blown engine. Actually I'm just stealing the power steering pump off of it for another project at the moment. But when I pulled the manifold and it started spilling all over the floor I thought it was kinda cool.

Lol. That's actually Gnarbowski's IPD plenum. Just shipped it off to Flat6 to go on his 3.8L build.
