Welcome! nice car - I think I like the lobster fork wheels but the new ones look great!
I think you will come to appreciate the all wheel drive if you plan to drive it in the winter in Seattle - I have a 2000 996C2 Cab and a 2003 Turbo and the Turbo can really handle the heavy rain and standing water on the roadways but in the C2 at freeway speeds can be pretty sketchy on standing water even with all season tires - I used the C2 as a daily Driver for about 4 years

@wyo, yes, I think any fast rear wheel drive car on low profile tires can be sketchy at speed in the rain (especially ones with crude, ie: older traction control). I hope to meet some of you guys for sure! Saw a nice clean lowered c2 on top of QA last week! Hoping to do Lake WA cars and coffee, The shop cars and coffee and Redmond exotics this year as well as XXX Root beer and maybe some of the PNW club events! Cheers!
