Default Reconciling hood sticker to build sheet option codes

I just bought a 2003 C4S and am trying to reconcile the hood sticker option codes with the option codes on the Build Sheet. It appears that Porsche didn't put any option codes beginning with P on the Hood Sticker even though there are several P code options on the build sheet. Also, it looks like I have several X codes on the hood sticker that add to code E70 or P78 (leather interior package) on the build sheet. Codes X97 and X98 on the Hood Sticker are Y06 on the build sheet.

So, that leaves code 680 and 446 on my Build Sheet, but not the Hood Sticker. I know Porsche was using 680 codes on the hood sticker because I have seen them?

I'm sure many of you know why it's done this way and can let me in on the confusion.

Reviving a bit of an old thread. I read the information on the stuttcars and was wondering if others could confirm that their underhood option decal does not include all of the options on their car.

I got a copy of my Factory Building Information Sheet (from my VIN) and it listed 8 options. When reviewing the list of available options and there were quite a few that were missing. I would imagine some could be dealer added option, but not all. Items not listed were 341 Central Locking System, 473 front and rear spoiler, 525 alarm, 559 AC, 566 front fog lights.

Can others confirm that their option stickers are missing some options?

Were those items actually standard on US models? I would think they were and maybe why they weren't on the sticker?

They might fall under an umbrella code - something like "version for USA"

My thoughts were some things could be dealer installed, but I would think that the Porsche alarm, Air Conditioner, Fog lights would be part of a build at the factory. Changing wheels and tires could be something a dealer did. However, I thought I read somewhere that the dealers would install the radios.
