How do you like that blind lefthander (turn #3)?

Looks as though they kept you guys in check. Were there other run groups (experienced, instructors) that were allowed to push?

Hated it lol that was the one corner that just kind of through the control i thought i had lol

yes there was three classes, and instructors. They had some great insight to share and we did a lead follow session. It was a blast, i was reaching about 120 on the straight and was waiting most the times in the turns for the cars ahead of me to go faster. The porsche did amazing there. My skills... held it back lol

Not fully reviving this thread yet as I'm still a couple months away from getting down and dirty but I am starting and working on a few things. kind of a teaser video as I start to think out the exhaust. I got a ways to go I think lol... not even close for sound.

If you want a Porsche-esque sound out of the V6 you're probably going to want unequal length headers that have equal length runners on each bank, but with an unequal length between the collectors and the merge. This is the main reason Subaru's sound like they do.

Default Intercooler mounted

Mounted the intercooler, thought i was going to need to fab up some brackets but apparently Porsche knew i was going to mount an intercooler right there i might put a cryo mister in front of it..but I’ll wait to see what the tuner says.

Can someone identify this little hose? Do i need it?

Also put some screens over the air vents, getting tired of cleaning out leaves.

Im pretty sure that is a drain hose. U should be able to shorten or move it and not cause any issues.

The rest looks good. I wish i had the patients or skill for body work.

thanks for the info.

Patients.. ya thats one thing I've learned to have over the years. although now that I'm about a year or so out of all this work on the car.. I already want to redo it. I see so many small details that don't look good and it drives me crazy. I'm going to redo some of the paint this winter and probably clean up my wheel flares a little more. one bad thing about doing this stuff in a garage is LIGHTING.. so hard to see the imperfections without the proper lighting. when its in the sun I can see issues.. but it was fun and no-one else seems to notice other than serious car guys lol

Made some brackets to mount some new horns.. I'm channeling my Asian teenager within. to tuner inspired or ok? I like the intercooler showing through the grille but the horns... I'm not sure. I made the brackets a little wider trying to think ahead for mounting stuff for the intercooler and what not once I start running stuff when the new motor is in there.

Also had a friend bring over his turbo so we could put on an exhaust.. I gotta get me one of these turbos..so nice. lol After we do the exhaust (should finish up tonight) I'll do a vid of his revving vs mine I'll also do a video of us racing but I wont share that one.. just trust me I'll win
