996 '04 C4S Cab RHD - passenger window does not drop down when handle is pulled (inside/outside), however you can hear it engaging. With door open, the window can be pushed down a couple of cm's, you close the door, and the window returns (closes) as per normal, sealing. Window operated normally in every other instance. Questions:
1. Window regulator problem?
2. Micro switch problem
3. Any instrcutions out there?

The regulator is either out of adjustment or needs replacing, as you've surmised. Since you can hear the regulator motor doing its thing when you lift the handle, the switches sound fine.

In addition to the many regulator replacement threads, there are one or two threads I've seen about adding a barrel cable adjuster (like you use to adjust the brake calipers on a bike) to the regulator to allow for adjustment without dismantling or removing the regulator, but my memory is known to be creative and occasionally mean.
