Default Last Drive in the Sun

So after a spirited drive in the SW Florida sun my 996 would't close the cabriolet top. Watching in the mirror the shroud opened and the top came up about 10%, faltered a few times then completely stopped working. I'll try to add a photo later if that helps but it just quit with the shroud open. All feedback and suggestions welcome! /X3

I'd start with checking the hydraulic fluid.

Check if the side flaps are opening....sometimes they stick in my car....I slight tap, and they open

Ours would go part way up or down, had to add just a small amount of fluid. Cabriolet pump uses power steering fluid CHF 11S, and was pleasantly surprised it was available at our local O'Reilly auto parts. Top worked perfectly since then.

Can you share or show where the CHF 11S fluid is added? TYVM! /X3
